ReImagine Fox Hills Meeting and Community Conversation Report

Greetings Fox Hills Community!

Reimagine Fox Hills Meeting:
– In November 2018, the City conducted Community Conversation meetings with resident and business stakeholders to understand perspectives and concerns. During the meetings it was explained that the City would be utilizing the Urban Land Institute Technical Advisory Panel (ULI TAP) to review and make recommendations related to the Reimagine Fox Hills Project and eventually inform the development of a master plan. The ULI TAP is comprised of land use professionals who specialize in addressing land use challenges. Challenges facing Fox Hills include lack of a Main Street where residents and employees of local businesses can gather, amenities such as restaurants and retail opportunities, and pedestrian/mobility improvements among others. (The ULI TAP Panel is focused on the commercial/business areas of Fox Hills.  They are not studying the existing residential area.  It is unrelated to the HSH project)

As a community member you are invited to attend the meeting during which the ULI TAP will present its preliminary findings and recommendations. The meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 8th at 4:00 p.m. and will occur at the Four Points Sheraton, in one of their meeting rooms located at 5990 Green Valley Circle. Light refreshments will be served and complimentary parking will be provided. We kindly request you RSVP to this Eventbrite link
