The Los Angeles County Public Health Department is sponsoring a study to determine health impacts on households close to the nearby oil fields ( Fox Hills). Reseachers from UCLA will conduct the study of over 500 households RANDOMLY selected within 1.5 miles of the oil field. They will receive invitation letters to participate. Please feel free to post the attached Study Announcement Flyers ( in English and Spanish) in your respective complexes.
This study is being conducted as required by the Baldwin Hills Community Standards
District Settlement Agreement and Mutual Release and has been approved by the UCLA

El Departamento de Salud Pública del Condado de Los Ángeles está

de vivir cerca al campo petrolífero de Inglewood. El estudio será realizado
por investigadores de UCLA, y buscan la participación del público.

invitándolo a participar. La participación es completamente voluntaria y
confidencial.
Si acepta participar, su parte incluirá:
• Completar un cuestionario de salud
• Tomar una medida de la presión
