Help Protect Fox Hills

Dear Fox Hills Community,

As you may know, Fox Hills has almost 3000 housing units in different stages of planning for the neighborhood. The city has now included a new “HOTEL INCENTIVE ZONE” in its plans for Fox Hills which proposes (up to TWELVE story) hotels through the entire interior of Fox Hills, with no buffer whatsoever facing the existing residential units, most of which are three stories.

Please attend (virtually or in-person) the Planning Commission meeting at City Hall to oppose this
continued assault on our beloved Fox Hills, which already has the densest residential population in Culver City. Please take this opportunity to speak out against the HOTEL INCENTIVE ZONE addition. There are MUCH better locations for hotels immediately adjacent to the 405 and 90 Freeways, which have been excluded from this plan.

WHAT: Planning Commission Meeting
WHEN: Wednesday, MAY 13, 2026 at 7PM
WHERE: Culver City, City Hall

Keep in mind that the city is going against a major tenant of their own zoning code which is as follows: “To preserve and protect the integrity and character of the city’s residential neighborhoods”.

The City Council, the Planning Commission and the Community Development Department have
neglected to follow up on our concerns about the planned overdevelopment in our community for the last 3 years. To have this Hotel Incentive Zone as part of the Fox Hills Specific Plan is what the city
wants despite the overcrowding, protection needed of 55+ year old trees, increased traffic and loss of parking that will result for us in Fox Hills.

Thank you and please let your neighbors know what is at stake and speak up!!
